At the NS Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) in IIM-B, EmbedX Information Systems, working on vehicle tracking system software, was incubated not long ago. Four youngsters from IIT Kharagpur did work hard on the software, but marketing and linkages failed. They split and went into full-time jobs.
The learning: One, it is better to work in some company for at least five years before starting on your own to build up the required skills and experience. Two, you need an angel investor who not only brings in the money but meets the advisory requirements

Hi Vikas,
Thanks for such a nice blog. But I would say you have left many good incubators. One of them is IIT Kharagpur. You can see yourself the activities going on.
